Accept an Offer to Invest

When a company sends you an investment offer through Cake, you'll receive an email with a link to review and sign your agreement.

Step 1: Open the offer

Look for an email from Cake with the subject line [Company Name] - Offer to Invest. Click View Offer in the email.

Step 2: Create your account

Sign up using the same email address the offer was sent to. If you're prompted to create a company after signing up, you've used the wrong email, log out and try again with the correct address.

Step 3: Find your offer

From the left menu in your portal, click Offers. Your investment offer will appear here.

Step 4: Review and accept

1. Click Review offer to open the offer details.

2. Click Enter details to add your personal information.

3. If required, enter a witness name and email address.

4. Review the draft documents on the right-hand side.

5. Once you've reviewed everything, sign the agreement.

6. Transfer the funds to the nominated bank account

7. Wait for the company to confirm receipt of funds and issue your shares

After signing

Your signed documents will appear in your Documents section. Your holdings will be visible in your Portfolio once the company has confirmed the investment.
