Add Your Company Valuation
Add your company's post-money valuation to Cake to unlock estimated value visibility for shareholders and option holders in their My Cake portal.
Add a valuation
Go to Cap Table → Valuations.
Click Add company valuation or + Add valuation in the top right corner.
Enter the valuation details:
Post-money valuation: The company valuation after this round
Date: The date the valuation was set
Round name (optional): The funding round name (e.g., Seed, Series A)
Click Save.
What happens next
The valuation appears in Cap Table → Valuations and is used to calculate the estimated value shown to stakeholders in My Cake. Cake divides the post-money valuation by total securities on issue to calculate a price per share, then multiplies by each stakeholder's holdings.
Note: Estimated values are illustrative only, actual value depends on exit scenario, liquidation preferences, and other factors.
