Audit Log
Cake's audit log records every significant action taken in your account, including which user made the change and when. It's useful for governance reviews, troubleshooting unexpected changes, and compliance purposes.
View the audit log
Go to Compliance in the main menu.
Click on the Audit log tab.
The log shows a timestamped history of account activity.
What's logged
The audit log captures key account activity, including:
Cap table changes (share issuances, transfers, cancellations)
Option grant changes (grants, lapses, exercises, repricings)
SAFE and note events (issued, signed, converted)
User access changes (invites, permission updates, removals)
Document uploads and deletions
Settings changes
