Available Contract Templates
Cake provides pre-built legal templates for your equity management and fundraising processes. Templates are drafted by legal partners across multiple jurisdictions and can be customized to suit your company.
Equity plan templates
Access plan templates from your option pool or share plan details.
Go to Plans and select your plan type (Options, RSAs, or RSUs).
Click View pool on the relevant plan.
Scroll to the Contracts section.
Available templates:
Plan Rules: the terms and conditions of your equity plan
Offer Letter or Grant Letter: the individual offer sent to each employee
Shareholders Resolution: shareholder approval documentation
Directors Resolution: director (or board) approval documentation
Fundraising templates
Templates are attached to each SAFE or convertible note raise and accessed from the raise details.
Available templates:
SAFE note documents: standard SAFE agreement
Convertible note agreements: convertible note terms
US accounts: Subscription Agreements are not available. SAFE and convertible note templates are available.
Share Certificate template
Go to Documents → Templates.
Find the Share Certificate template in the list.
This template controls the layout and company details shown on all share certificates you issue.
