Bulk Upload SAFEs, Convertibles & Custom notes

Use these tabs to record all of your convertible instruments. There are three separate tabs — SAFEs, Convertibles, and Custom notes — download and upload each as a separate CSV file.

If a note has already converted, include the conversion details in the same row. Cake will automatically create the corresponding share issuance during upload, you don't need to record it separately in the Shares tab.

1. Enter your notes in the relevant tab — SAFEs, Convertibles or Custom notes.

2. When ready, click File → Download → CSV from the top menu. If you have multiple note types, repeat this for each tab and upload them separately.

3. In Cake, go to Ownership → Cap Table and navigate to the relevant section — SAFEs, Convertibles or Custom notes. Click the bulk upload option.

4. Drag your CSV file into the pop-up window and click Next.

5. Review and validate the data, then click Import.
