Export Data for 409A Valuation
Before a 409A valuation, your provider needs a snapshot of your cap table and equity data. Cake has two export methods depending on your plan.
With 409A Add-on (Recommended)
If you have the 409A add-on:
Navigate to Compliance → 409A
Click Download Data
Provide this comprehensive export directly to your 409A provider
Without 409A Add-on
Navigate to Compliance → Reporting
Click Download XLSX on the Cap table report
This provides a comprehensive cap table export your provider can work from.
After exporting
Send the file directly to the valuation partner. They'll use it to assess the fair market value of your common stock.
