How to Upload a Custom ESOP Template
If your company has existing, legally-reviewed equity documents, you can upload them as custom templates in Cake. Your custom templates replace Cake's defaults for that plan, while still using Cake's variable tag system to auto-populate stakeholder details.
Note: Custom templates are available on the Build, Growth and PRO plans only.
Before you start
Custom Plan Rules must be in .pdf format
Grant Letter templates must be in .docx format.
Your Grant Letter template should have all variable fields highlighted or marked where you want stakeholder data (name, grant date, number of options, etc.) to auto-populate.
You need Admin or Account Owner access.
