How to generate Form 3921 in Cake
Cake pulls every ISO exercise for the tax year and generates the copies you need. It takes two clicks.
Requires the Cake Pro plan.
Generate your Form 3921 data
- Go to Compliance in the main menu
- Select Form 3921
- Click Download report for the tax year you are reporting on
- Click Generate Copy B and Copy C
The downloaded report carries every figure the IRS asks for on each exercise: grant date, exercise date, exercise price, fair market value at exercise, and shares acquired.
Where your copies land
Cake builds both copies automatically. Find them under Documents → All documents → IRS → [Year], split into separate Form 3921 - Copy B and Form 3921 - Copy C folders.
What happens next
