# Managing Multiple Company Accounts

Switch between companies and add new ones — all under one Cake login.

**Managing Multiple Company Accounts**

Cake lets you manage multiple companies under a single login. This is useful for attorneys, accountants, and advisors supporting multiple clients, or founders who have more than one entity.

Your current company is always shown in the top left corner of the screen.

### Switch between companies

1. Click your **company logo** in the top left corner to open the company switcher

2. Select the company you want to view from the dropdown

3. Cake loads that company, your login stays the same

### Add a new company

1. Click your **company logo** in the top left corner

2. Select **+ Add New Company** at the bottom of the dropdown

3. Follow the company setup steps to enter your new entity details

4. Once set up, switch between companies using the same dropdown

### Delete a new company

1. Click your **company logo** in the top left corner

2. Go to **Settings** and select the **Billing** tab.

3. Click **Want to modify / cancel plan**.

4. Select **Cancel** and follow the confirmation steps. Your account will be deleted at the end of the current billing cycle. If you're on a free plan, it will be deleted immediately.

### What Happens Next

Each company is completely separate, its own cap table, equity plans, documents, and settings. Switching companies changes everything you see in the app. Your user account and login are shared across all companies.

> **Note:** Each company requires its own Cake subscription. Billing is managed separately per company.
