Send Messages to Shareholders and Employees
Cake's Communications tool lets you send messages to your shareholders, employees, or any group of stakeholders, directly from your Cake account. Recipients get an email notification and can read the full message in their My Cake portal.
How it works
Universal delivery: messages are sent to all selected recipients, even if they haven't signed up to My Cake yet
Email notification: recipients receive an email alert; the full message is in their My Cake portal
Optional replies: toggle on Enable replies if you want recipients to be able to respond
Send a message
Go to Engage in the main menu.
Select Communications.
Click New Message.
Choose a template or start with a blank message.
Add a subject line.
Select your recipients: choose individual stakeholders or an entire contact group.
Write your message.
Toggle on Enable replies if you want to allow responses.
Click Send.
Drafts
Click Save as draft at any point to save your message without sending. Drafts are saved in the Communications tab and can be edited and sent later.
