# Set Up Company Details

Update your company information so it appears correctly on share certificates, legal documents, and reports.

**Set Up Company Details**

Keep your company information accurate, it appears on share certificates, legal documents, and compliance reports throughout Cake. Getting this right from the start avoids having to re-issue documents later.

### Update your company details

1. Go to **Settings** and select the **Company details** tab

2. Click **Edit** in the top right corner

3. Update your company information:

   * **Company name** and registration details

   * **Business address** and contact information

   * **Incorporation details** and jurisdiction

   * **Currency**: preferred currency for your account

   * **Company identifiers**: ACN/ABN (AU), EIN (US), or equivalent for your jurisdiction

   * **Company logo**: appears on share certificates and documents

4. Click **Save** to apply your changes

### Share certificate settings

If your account includes share certificate functionality, you will also see a **Share certificate** section on this page. Use this to configure your certificate template and default settings.

> **Note:** Share certificate settings are not shown for LLC accounts (US), as Cake does not issue share certificates for LLCs.

### What Happens Next

Your updated company details take effect immediately across the platform, they will appear on any new share certificates, contracts, and reports generated from this point. Existing documents already issued are not retroactively updated.
