Use this access level to give your lawyer, accountant, registered agent, or general advisor, with access to your Cake account!

With admin access, they will be able to view & edit all information as well as export relevant reports - super handy to help them with any reporting obligations for you!

  1. From the main menu, select 'Company'

  2. Select 'Settings' from the dropdown menu.

  3. From the top of this page, jump into 'User Access'.

  4. Click the '+ Add User Access' button in the top right corner.

  5. In the invite window, enter the email for your advisor, set their permission level to 'Admin' and click the 'Invite' button.

  6. The person will then receive an email similar to that in the below screenshot, granting them ADMIN access to your company on Cake.

N.B. It is important that the advisor signs up / logs in to Cake using the same email address that the invite was sent to. The email will confirm the email address to be used.

They will need to enter the 6-digit confirmation code that appears above the 'Join [Company Name] on Cake' button where prompted to activate their access. These confirmation codes do expire so if the advisor receives an 'invalid code' message, the company can re-send the invitation.
