If you're looking to upload stock option grants that have already been accepted outside of Cake, the process is actually very similar to setting up a new offer!

1. Go to the "Equity Plans" tab and then click on "Options" or "Stock Options". If you don't have an existing pool already set up, create your option pool. If you do have an existing pool created, click on "View pool".

2. Create your offer by clicking "+ Add an offer" and fill in the relevant details such as option holder name, total options granted, the vesting start date and schedule, and the exercise price. Save the offer as a draft.

3. Now, this is where the process differs for new offers vs. offers that have already been accepted outside of the Cake platform. If the offer has already been accepted outside of Cake, click on "Grant" instead of "Send offer".

4. Add in the date the options were granted, and you will also see a link to upload the executed Offer Letter / Stock Option Agreement.

5. You can select or unselect the option for employees to receive vesting notifications by selecting the box 'Invite to view holdings in Cake Portfolio'

6. Once you upload the executed document, the offer will be in the "Vesting Ongoing" status. If the offer is fully vested, then the status will reflect this.
