If you are unable to choose the Starter plan when upgrading from our Freemium plan it's due to using a feature that's exclusively available in the Growth Plan, such as Stock Options/ESOP and RSA/Share Plans. If you want to keep using these features, the Growth plan is the way to go—it’s actually our most popular plan!
If you'd prefer to switch to the Starter plan, follow these steps:
Identify the blocker: Check which features tied to the Growth Plan you’ve been using, like Options or Share Plans. You can see the full list of features here.
Clear Data: Next, you'll need to clear out any data or configurations you've set up within those features.
Once the data is cleared, you'll be able to select the Starter Plan with no issues.
