Connect Grok to Cake

Connect Grok to Cake and ask about your Cap Table in plain English. Grok reads your live Cap Table through Cake's MCP server. It answers questions and never makes changes.

Before you start

Your company needs to be on Cake's Team, Growth or Pro plan, on annual or quarterly billing. Any Grok plan works, including free.
AI access has to be on for your company. An admin requests it in Settings > AI Access (MCP). See How to connect your AI assistant to Cake.

Add Cake as a connector in Grok

In Grok, click Plugins at the bottom of the left sidebar.
On the Connectors tab, click New Connector.
In Name, enter Cake.
In Server URL, enter https://app.cakeequity.com/mcp
Click Add Connector.

What happens next

Cake appears under Connected on the Connectors page, showing app.cakeequity.com and Added. Start a chat and ask a question. Grok only sees the company your Cake account is connected to.

Note: The connection is read-only. Grok can answer questions about your Cap Table but it cannot add, edit or delete anything.
