How to Sell Your Shares

Contact The Company First

Reach out to the company you have invested in directly to discuss your interest in selling your shares. They'll guide you through what options are available and any specific transfer process and requirements.

If you need their contact details, just let us know and we'll connect you.

What to Expect

When you contact the company, they will:

  • Verify your eligibility to sell based on any restrictions or holding periods

  • Explain their transfer process and required documentation

  • Help determine fair market value through company or independent valuations

  • Provide transfer forms if a buyer or transfer is approved

Important Things to Know

12-month holding period: If your shares were acquired through crowdfunding, they typically must be held for at least 12 months before becoming eligible for sale.

Private market differences: Unlike public shares, private company shares don't trade on exchanges. Sales happen through:

  • Direct transfers to approved buyers

  • Company buybacks

  • Secondary trading platforms (if available)

Pricing: Share values are determined by company valuations or independent appraisals, not daily market prices.
