An option pool can only be deleted from Cake if it is empty. This means all offers within the pool, whether drafts or granted, must be removed before you can delete the overall pool.

Deleting individual ESOP offers (stock option grants)

  1. From the main menu, select Incentive plans.

  2. From the dropdown, select Stock Options (or simply Options, depending on your jurisdiction).

  3. Click on View Pool for the relevant option plan.

4. Delete Offers

  • To delete multiple offers, tick the checkbox next to each offer you need to delete, or select all. Then, click Bulk Actions and choose Delete Grants from the dropdown menu.

  • To delete a single offer, click the trash icon πŸ—‘οΈ on the right-hand side of the offer.

Deleting an Option Pool

Once all offers have been deleted from the option pool, you can delete the entire pool.

  1. Navigate to Incentive Plans
From the main menu, select Incentive Plans.

  2. Select Stock Options
From the dropdown, select Stock Options (or simply Options, depending on your jurisdiction).

  3. View the Relevant Pool
Click on View Pool for the relevant option plan.

  4. Delete the Pool
Click the trash icon πŸ—‘οΈ in the top right corner to delete the entire pool.
