Account Access Troubleshooting & Quick Fixes
'No account found' message
This usually means your email isn't registered, or your account was created with a different login method.
Try logging in with Google or LinkedIn: your account may be linked to one of these
If you haven't created an account yet, click Create one on the login page
Forgot your password
Go to the login page, enter your email, and click Reset Password. Check your inbox for a 6-digit verification code and use it to set a new password.
If you don't receive the reset email, check your spam folder. If it's still not there, your account may have been created with Google or LinkedIn, try those login options instead.
Verification code not arriving
Check your spam or junk folder
Make sure you're checking the inbox for the email address you used to sign up
If your account uses Google or LinkedIn, use those to log in instead of a password
2FA issues
If you've lost access to your authenticator app, who to contact depends on your role:
Employees, investors, and advisors – contact the company you hold equity with. An admin at the company can reset your 2FA in seconds, and you'll be prompted to set up a new authenticator app on your next login.
Admins – you can reset 2FA for anyone on your account. See Enable or Reset Two-Factor Authenticator. If you're locked out of your own admin account, contact Cake support.
Still can't log in?
