Update Authorized Shares

Authorized shares reflect the total number of shares your company is legally permitted to issue for a given share class. You can update this number in Cake at any time.

1. Go to Cap Table and select the Share Classes tab.

   

2. If the share class you need doesn't exist yet, click + Add to create it first. (See Add a new share class for guidance.)

3. Click Edit next to the share class you want to update.

4. Update the number in the Authorized shares field.

   

5. Click Save to apply the change.
