To protect the privacy of the company and its shareholders, we are not able to update shareholder details on our end - even seemingly small changes (like changing your email) can affect the company’s privacy.
To change your email:
Click your initials (or profile picture) in the top right corner of your investor portfolio;
Choose Update email from the dropdown menu;
Enter your preferred email address in the space provided;
Check your email and locate the 'Cake - Email change confirmation' email and follow the 'Confirm new email' button to finalise 🤗
You will be logged out of Cake. You will be able to log back in with your new email if using a social login but if you signed up using email/password you will need to sign up again with your new email and set a password to view your holdings.
N.B. Your email address cannot be changed if there are any pending contracts waiting for your signature. You will need to sign these first and then update your email address after!
