ESOP
In the main menu, go to Equity then Options/Stock options
Click 'View Pool' (If you haven't set up a pool yet you will need to do so first by following the steps in this article -> Add an Employee Stock Option Plan)
Within the pool, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'View details' of the country you wish to edit templates for.
Click on the relevant contract select 'edit' in the top right hand corner.
You can now make your adjustments. The contract will save automatically as you make the changes so when you are done simply cross out the page.
Raise
In the main menu, go to Equity then Raise
Click 'See details' (if you haven't set up a raise yet you will need to do so first by following the steps in one of these articles -> How to set up a Raise with Equity / SAFE note / Convertible note)
Navigate to the Contracts tab in the top menu
Click on the contract you wish to edit and select 'edit' in the top right hand corner
You can now make your adjustments. The contract will save automatically as you make the changes so when you are done simply cross out the page.
Transfers
In the main menu, go to Equity then Shares/Shareholders
Navigate to Share transfers in the top menu
Select 'View details' on the transfer you wish to edit the contract for (if you haven't set up a transfer yet do so first by following the steps of Method 1 in this article -> Share transfers)
Navigate to the Contracts tab in the top menu
Click on the contract you wish to edit and select 'edit' in the top right hand corner
You can now make your adjustments. The contract will save automatically as you make the changes so when you are done simply cross out the page.
💡 Each template will have a range of different variable tags added throughout the template that looks like this tag below -
Wherever there is a variable like the one above, the platform will insert the data you've added to each offer in the Cake platform. For any sections where you want the individual details to pull through for each offer make sure to leave the variables in the template. If you wish to use the same wording for each offer you can simply replace the variable with your desired wording.
Depending on which contract you are using, there can also be some tags that will pull through from the Company Section or other sections in the platform such as the tag below -
🛑 Each template is saved within the feature that you edited the template from. This means if you delete your Raise/ESOP/Transfer the contract will be deleted with it!
