To ensure a smooth valuation process, it's important to export the right data from Cake. In this guide, we'll walk you through the best exports you can get direct from your Cake account to ensure the 409A valuation team has what they need πŸš€

With the 409A add-on included in your plan - it's simple

  1. Navigate to the 409A tab,Β 

  2. Click on 'Download CSV,' andΒ 

  3. Provide this information direct to the 409A provider.Β 

What if you don't have the 409A add-on yet?

If you don't have the 409A add-on on your plan, then you will either need to upgrade, or export the required reports separately using the below steps:

1. Report of All Shareholders πŸ‘₯

  • Navigate to Cap Table.

  • Click on the sub-heading 'Shareholders.'

  • In the top right corner, click 'Actions.'

  • Choose 'Download shareholders CSV' from the dropdown.

  • This export provides a detailed list of shareholders with investing entity details, class of shares, number of shares held, and total amount paid in CSV format.

2. Report of All Option Holders πŸ“ˆ

  • Go to Cap Table.

  • Select 'Option holders' from the dropdown.

  • In the top right corner, click 'Download CSV.'

  • This export provides a comprehensive list of option holders and their offer details.

3. Report of All Note Holders πŸ“

  • Head to Cap Table.

  • Choose 'Note holders' in the dropdown.

  • In the top right corner, click 'More.'

  • Select 'Download Notes' from the dropdown menu.

  • This export gives you detailed information about all note holders.

4. Report of All RSU Holders 🌟

  • Go to Equity plans.

  • Select 'RSUs' from the dropdown.

  • Click 'More' in the top right corner.

  • Choose 'Download RSU plans' from the dropdown.

  • This export includes a comprehensive list of RSU holders and relevant details.

5. Report of All RSA Holders πŸ”’

  • Go to Equity plans.

  • Choose 'RSAs' in the dropdown.

  • Click 'More' in the top right corner.

  • Select 'Download RSA plans' from the dropdown.

  • This export provides a detailed list of RSA holders and their associated information.
