Bulk Upload Shares

Use this tab to record all historical share transactions — issues, transfers and buybacks.

⚠️ Do not include shares issued from SAFE or convertible note conversions, or from exercised options. These are handled in their respective tabs. Share conversions and splits should also be recorded directly in Cake after upload.

1. Enter your share transactions in the Shares tab.

2. When ready, click File → Download → CSV from the top menu.

3. In Cake, go to Ownership → Cap Table → Shareholders, then click Add → Upload from spreadsheet.

4. Drag your CSV file into the pop-up window and click Next.

5. Review and validate the data, then click Import.
