Change Your Cap Table Currency
Cake supports a single currency across your entire account. If you need to update the default currency for your cap table, you can do this at any time from your company settings.
Note: Cake does not support multi-currency accounts. All instruments — including shares, SAFEs, and convertible notes — will be denominated in your selected currency.
Steps
Navigate to Settings.
Under Company Details, click Edit.
In the Currency field, delete the existing currency first — you must clear this field before you can search for a new one.
Type to search for and select your new currency.
Click Save.
Refresh the page to see the updated currency reflected across your cap table.
What happens next
Your new default currency will apply across your entire account. If you manage instruments in multiple currencies, you'll need to align these to your selected currency before making this change.
