Starting from scratch
If you are setting up your Cap Table for the first time, the free plan covers up to five stakeholders and you can use the product properly, not a demo version of it.
Add your founders and early shareholders, set up your share classes, record SAFEs or convertible notes, create an incentive plan and draft option grants. Issue equity to those stakeholders and invite them to their own portal so they can see what they hold. Model a round and watch how it dilutes. Try things, delete them, try them again.
It is your real company data in your own account, and it stays there.
Coming from a spreadsheet or another platform
If your Cap Table already lives somewhere else, you do not need to rebuild it by hand to take a look.
Migration is part of onboarding, and our Customer Success team does it for you. Upload what you have, or hand over the reports from your current platform, and we build your Cap Table in Cake, typically within 48 hours in business days, at no cost.
You also get a free Power Up call, where our team walks through the upload with you and reconciles it line by line against what you had. Not a sales call. It is there so you can be certain the data is right before you commit to anything.
