Stages of a Raise Offer

Track your raise offers through each stage of the process. Here's what each status means and what happens next.

Initial stage: New offers start as 'Ready to invite'

After clicking 'Invite', you'll go through confirmation screens:

  1. Review and confirm the investor's contact information

  2. Confirm the investment amount is correct

  3. Preview the contract (you can download the PDF by hovering over the preview and clicking 'Download')

  4. Confirm send for signing — this triggers the invitation email to the investor

Once sent, the offer will move through these stages:

  1. 'Waiting for stakeholder to confirm' — Investor hasn't started the process. They need to confirm the investment amount first.

  2. 'Waiting for stakeholder details' — Investor must add their contact information and can also update/confirm the investing entity details before proceeding.

  3. 'Waiting for contract' — Details are complete, but the investor needs to click 'Sign contract' to generate the agreement.

  4. 'Waiting for signatures' — Contract is generated but not yet signed. You can track all signatories through Documents → Pending Signatures.

  5. 'Waiting for payment' — Document is fully signed. Investor needs to transfer funds using the bank details displayed in the Offers tab and in the documentation. An admin user will confirm payment using the 'Update Payment' button once funds are received.

  6. 'Issue Shares' or 'Issue Note' — Payment confirmed! Click this button to complete the process and update the share register or noteholders page (depending on the type of raise) and generate the share certificate.

For investors: You'll see a progress bar in your account guiding you through each step:
